Dental Insurance

As a convenience to our patients we submit charges to your insurance carrier. Most plans include a co-payment, a deductible or other expenses which must be paid by the patient.

We base your treatment on your dental health needs, not on your insurance policy coverage. You are the most important person regarding your health. After consulting with us, you ultimately decide whether a treatment is right for you. Therefore you are responsible for payment regardless of insurance coverage. If for some reason your insurance company has not paid their estimated balance within 60 days from completion of treatment, you are responsible for payment at that time.

Financial Policy

It is our policy that your payment is made in full at the time dental care is provided. We accept Cash, Checks, Discover, Visa, MasterCard, Meddirect and Care Credit. Care Credit is a company specializing in financing medical and dental procedures. It is offered to qualified patients who require extended payment plans (often at 0% for up to 12 months). You can apply for Care Credit prior to your first visit.

Discounts offered if invoice paid on the same day of treatment:

  • Cash: 5% Courtesy discount given for balances over $300.
  • 10% Senior discount given for patients that are 62 years of age and up

Appointments

Your appointment time is exclusively reserved for you. If you are unable to keep your appointment, other patients can be accommodated. So, we require a 24-hour notice for any appointment change. A $35 fee will be charged if a 24-hour notice is not given.

Infection Control

Our office practices the most up-to-date procedures recommended for sterilization. Sterilization pouches and barrier protection are used for everyone’s safety. Face masks, gloves, eye protection and gowns are worn by all our clinical personnel. Disinfection of counters and all other surfaces is done after each patient. All metal instruments and hand pieces are put in an autoclave that is monitored through a local hospital.
